CSU President Frank Pogue Aug. 29 released nine key objectives for improving the university's fiscal and operational standing.

Known as the "Expectations," the objectives are geared toward CSU students and employees; and they outline some of the procedures the interim administration believes should be implemented to enhance the university's functioning as it searches for a permanent president.

In the objectives, Pogue tells the campus to:

-- Work with constituents to build on academic strengths.

-- Improve the financial and operational management of the university.

-- Prepare the campus for new presidential leadership.

-- Review the university organizational chart.

-- Develop an enrollment plan to increase recruitment.

-- Implement strategies to enhance the image of the university.

-- Work with groups to identify fundraising strategies.

-- Explore ways to ensure employment opportunities for CSU graduates.

-- Identify additional ways to reward excellence among students and employees.

Each objective is supported by specifics outlined in the "Expectations" document [see link below to view Pogue's expectations online].
